OUR MISSION
Eko Club Atlanta
is the club for all Lagosians (migrated from Lagos, Nigeria) in the metro Atlanta area, which is one of 13 Chapters of Eko Club International around the world, and registered in the State of Georgia as a nonprofit organization.

Eko Club Atlanta seeks to provide humanitarian assistance to the poor, the needy, and the underprivileged in our communities here in Atlanta and in Lagos, Nigeria.  Part of our mission is also to impact our institutions of higher learning and our health care sectors in our community here and Lagos through our commitments and donations.
 
       
Message from ECA President  

Eko Club Atlanta was incorporated in 2001. The organization was established by Lagosians (US citizens of Lagos, Nigeria descendants) living in the metro Atlanta area. Eko Club Atlanta is one of 13 Chapters of Eko Club International around the world, and registered in the State of Georgia as a nonprofit organization.

Eko Club Atlanta seeks to provide humanitarian assistance to the poor, the needy, and the underprivileged in our communities here in Atlanta and in Lagos, Nigeria. Part of our mission is also to positively impact our institutions of higher learning and the health care system in our community here and in Lagos through our community projects geared towards these sectors.

From 2001 to Present
  2007 – Donated boxes of Towels to Clayton Center - a mix of mentally and substance abuse patients managed by the State of GA 

2007 - Donated 120 pieces of Clothing Items to Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless organization, Atlanta, GA
2007 – Three members of ECA volunteered on a medical mission to Lagos organized by the umbrella body of Eko Club International

2006 – Donated Bicycles & Tricycles to Foster Children Home of Clayton County Community
2006 - Donated Toys to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
2006 - Donated 100 pieces of Clothing Items to Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless organization, Atlanta, GA
2006– Refurbished & Equipped the Maternity Ward of Surulere General Hospital, Lagos Nigeria
2006- Collected 550 text books to ECI towards a planned future donation to Lagos state Schools 

2005 - Donated Computers to Lagos State University, Lagos Nigeria
2005 - Donated Mattresses, Pillows & Pillow cases to Surulere General Hospital, Lagos Nigeria
2005 - Donated 500 pieces of Clothing Items & Shoes to Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless Organization, Atlanta, GA

 2004 - Donated 350 pieces of Clothing Items & shoes to Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless organization, Atlanta, GA

2003 - Hosted 2003 Eko Club International Convention which focused on promoting economic development and re-investment in Lagos State

   2002 - Contributed to the Lagos Disaster Relief Fund: A joint effort with the Nigeria Consulate General’s Office in Atlanta and other non-profit
organization that raised funds for the Lagos (Ikeja bomb) disaster

2001 - The gift of books project donation to Lagos State schools: A joint effort with African Children Funds (ACF - a non profit organization in GA).
ACF sponsored the gift of 10,000 books for Lagos Schools
